At Astylux, we don’t just make clothes; we engineer urban armor. When you hold an Astylux piece, the weight speaks for itself—whether it’s the substantial drape of our 220 GSM oversized tees or the heavy-duty warmth of our 330 GSM winter range.
Our garments are a complex fusion of 100% breathable French Terry, soft-brushed Fleece, and advanced printing tech like DTF, Puff, and Rubber hybrid prints. To ensure your "System Sovereign" or "Void Resolve" pieces maintain their silhouette and high-definition details for years, follow this specialized care manual.
1. The Print Protection Protocol (DTF, Puff & Rubber Hybrids)
Astylux designs often feature multi-textured prints, combining the sharp detail of DTF (Direct to Film) with the 3D depth of Puff and Rubber prints. These require "Low-Friction" care.
Turn it Inside Out: This is non-negotiable. Turning the garment inside out creates a barrier against the washing machine drum, preventing your puff prints from losing their "pop" and your DTF graphics from scratching.
Cold Wash Only: Heat is the enemy of print adhesives. To prevent the rubber and DTF elements from peeling or cracking, stick to a cold cycle (30°C).
The "No-Stretch" Rule: Avoid aggressively wringing out the garment when wet. Stretching the fabric while the fibers are heavy with water can cause "micro-cracks" in high-density rubber prints.
2. Heavyweight Construction (330 GSM & 220 GSM)
Target: 330 GSM Hoodies/Sweatpants and 220 GSM Oversized Tees/Baggy Bottoms.
The Soft-Brushed Interior: To keep the 330 GSM fleece lining plush and avoid "pilling," avoid fabric softeners. Softeners actually coat the natural cotton fibers, reducing breathability and flattening the soft-brushed texture.
Ribbed Architecture: Our reinforced cuffs and hems are built with memory-retention ribbing. To prevent them from stretching out, never hang-dry heavyweight hoodies. The weight of the wet 330 GSM cotton will pull the shoulders and neck out of shape. Flat dry is the professional standard.
3. Specialized Washes & Sublimation
Target: Shadow Wash, Acid Wash, and All-Over Sublimated Designs.
Shadow & Acid Wash: These boutique treatments give our gear a vintage, tech-distressed look. Wash these separately for the first few cycles to ensure the unique pigment tones don't transfer to lighter garments.
Sublimation: These prints are embedded into the fibers and won't fade, but they still thrive in cold water to keep the base 100% cotton fabric from shrinking.
4. Tactical Elements (Leather & Fabric Patches)
Astylux often incorporates leather or embroidered patches to enhance the techwear aesthetic.
Patch Care: Do not leave garments with leather patches soaking in water for extended periods. This can stiffen the leather.
Steaming Over Ironing: NEVER touch an iron directly to a leather patch, rubber print, or puff graphic. The heat will melt the print instantly. Use a garment steamer at a distance to remove wrinkles while preserving the tactical details.
Quick Care Summary for Astylux Collectors:
Feature | Action |
Puff & Rubber Prints | Wash inside out; Never iron directly. |
330 GSM Fleece | Flat dry only to preserve the silhouette. |
Acid/Shadow Wash | Mild liquid detergent; No bleach. |
Leather Patches | Avoid long soaking; Steam at a distance. |
Final Log:
Your Astylux gear is a fusion of modern minimalism and technical durability. Treat it with the same precision we used to create it, and it will remain the centerpiece of your rotation through every season.
Maintain the standard. Wear the future.
